Welcome to the Rotary Club of Pacifica
Celebrating 50 Years
Of Service Above Self
1962 - 2012

The Rotary Club of Pacifica, started in 1962, is one of Pacifica’s most important community service clubs.  Members include local business owners, financial consultants, hypnotherapists, real estate agents, attorneys and others who have made a commitment to Service Above Self

In the last several years Pacifica Rotarian tradition members have worked together to distribute dictionaries to every third grader in the Pacifica School District and private schools, collect food supplies for the Pacifica Resource Center, purchase defibulators for Pacifica’s police cars, fund micro credit loans for women in Guatamala, painted the Sanchez Library, and provide scholarships and scholarship consultation for high school juniors as they prepare to apply to college.  We completed Phase 1 of Rotary Plaza" at the Pacifica Center for the Arts to celebrate our 50 years of Service to the community in 2012.  Rotary has also made a continued commitment to support Rotary International’s Polio Eradication effort around the world.  Rotarians believe that the future is in their hands.

As our Rotary year progresses we are looking forward to the completion of Phase 2 of Rotary Plaza, celebrating our 50th Anniversary, distributing dictionaries to our third graders and focusing on creating a safety net for the children of needy families within our own community. Childhood memories have a definite impact on how we perceive our surrounding world. By Reaching Within to Embrace Humanity Rotarians, by providing health and dental care for unfortunate families with small children, can cultivate a next generation that understands that it takes a community to get through tough times.

Members meet weekly to conduct club business, hear interesting and informative speakers, work on projects and enjoy the fellowship of one another.  Imagine having fun at a meeting that starts at 7:15am!  Rotarians do!  Feel ree to join us any at any meeting.
